The American-born, Cambodian-Chinese artist, who goes by the online alias, Nicole Linx, is the creative brain who runs the one-woman show called Ravenous Studios.Born in the very early 2000s, Nicole was born just in time to experience the genius that was Saturday Morning Cartoons. And just like many other artists, those moving pictures intrigued the young mind. Not just the visual art of animation, but the fact that amazing stories could be told in such an engaging way; this was the inciting incident that would lead Nicole down a path that she would become so invested in.It is unclear just how early Nicole had been doing art, but she vaguely remembers watching YouTube tutorials and decorating her school supplies with the resulting art. She would also remember trying her hand at character design, one original character being inspired by Digimon (unfortunately, this character is now lost media). Fast-forward to 2017, after drawing digital with only a mouse for so many years, Nicole finally got her very first graphics tablet. She would later switch to her current iPad with Procreate, simply for easy transportation.Now, Nicole dreams of being able to perfect her pitches for animated tv shows and eventually make them a reality. But in the meantime, she simply wishes to be able to make a full-time occupation out of freelance art.
